As it was reported by the Chairman of Supervisory Board of ZALIV Shipyard, Nikolay Kuzmenko, four contracts signed in December, 2010, for construction of specialized ships for Norwegian company ULSTEIN are fully provided with required financing from the side of the shipyard.

 JSC Shipyard Zaliv and Dutch shipbuilding company Bodewes Shipyard has signed two new contracts.The subject of the contracts are two container traders having the length of 91,07 m and beam of 15,2 m with deadweight of 4400 dwt each.

 By the words of chief of supervisory board of shipyard Zaliv Nikolay Kuzmenko systematic work over search for new orders that has been led by marketing department of the shipyard during the whole last year resulted in signing of some new contract four of which are concluded with company Ulstein (Norway).

 The beginning of August the launching of the next hull of container vessel took place. It is already the eight vessel of the series that is built by Zaliv by the order from Dutch company Damen Shipyards Bergum.

 Despite the conditions of crisis in the economics itself and particularly in the shipbuilding branch the year 2009 may be considered as positive for JSC Shipyard Zaliv. 

By the results of annual reports the production volume of Zaliv in 2009 made up 451,3 mln. UAH comparing to the level of 2008 making up 260,5 mln. UAH.  Dividing to the production means the ratings of production volumes are the following: for shipbuilding it is 437,9 mln. UAH, for shiprepair is 2,7 ,ln. UAH and the rest are 10,7 mln. UAH. 

 According to the decision of Supervisory Board of JSC Shipyard Zaliv (Kerch, Crimea) Alexander Pavlovich Ivlev is discharged from the post of general director. This decision was taken on the basis of his personal application. 

Nikolay Ivanovich Yermak, from January 2006 taking the post of production director was appointed to the position acting as the general director until the next meeting of shareholders.

 Zaliv continues works over the series of container vessels for the Dutch company "Damen Shipyards Bergum". Seven hulls of this series have been constructed and successfully delivered to the Customer. The end of July this year the laying up of the tenth hull of this series took place at Zaliv's building berth. The readiness of this vessel (building number of the hull is 01510) to the August 1, 2010 made up approximately 50%. The delivery is scheduled to December 2010.
